『暗黒女子』は日本のMystery映画です。It's based off the novel of the same name by the Japanese author, 秋吉理香子 (Rikako Akiyoshi). The plot is simple:
At a prestigious girl’s school, 白石逸美 (Itsumi Shiraishi) was the most beautiful, charismatic, and popular girl at St. Mary’s Academy for Girls— also helped that her dad was chairman of the board for this school (lol). She was also the president of the exclusive and tight-knit Literature Club. Needless to say, she had it all: money, power, looks. However, she was found dead one day. A week after her death, the members of her beloved club gather in her memory, each testifying their version of what happened and who they suspect killed 白石逸美 through their novel (because this was a Literature club).
This becomes interesting because it created a 羅生門 (Rashmon*)-situation where you don't fully know who to believe because each of their testimony contradicted the others. Highly recommend if you into drama or mystery; also helps that ALL the actors/actresses in this movie are so pretty!!
